Benefits

In Yawuru culture, Cypress Pine has been used during celebrations and burned to help keep mosquitoes away. In our family, we love it for its bright scent, said to bring good energy. A fragrance connected to gathering, celebration and home.

Our difference

We hand make each stick of incense in Broome. Wild-harvested, ground and mixed under the Kimberley skies. No added oils or perfumes for an all-natural burn: no more headahces and overpowering scents. Our Cypress Pine incense is sure to brighten your day.

SHIPPING

Items are usually shipped within 1-2 business days of placing your order. We offer free standard shipping on orders over $99 within Australia.

DIRECTIONS

Place your incense stick in a stable base. Light the tip, allow it to burn briefly, then gently blow out the flame. The tip should glow and release a gentle trail of smoke.

Enjoy in a well-ventilated space, away from draughts and flammable materials. Each stick burns for approximately 30 minutes.

Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from children and pets. To extinguish early, dip the glowing tip in water and check it is fully out. Allow the holder and ash to cool before handling.

ABOUT OUR INCENSE

Cypress Pine, also known as blue cypress, is a native conifer found across northern Australia. We wild-harvest ours from across the Kimberley. Its blue-green foliage grows above fine-grained timber, ranging from pale yellow to golden brown, with a bright, woody aroma and a spicy edge when burned.

In Yawuru culture, Cypress Pine has been used during celebrations and burned to help keep mosquitoes away. In our family, we love it for its bright scent and the good energy it brings. A fragrance connected to gathering, celebration and home.

Frequently asked questions

How long will the incense last me?

It depends on how often you intend to burn! Each stick burns for roughly 30-minutes and each box contains 30 incense sticks. So if you're like us and burn everyday, one box should last you a month. But if you only choose to burn for special occasions, you can make it last a lot longer.

Do you ship overseas?

No, unfortunately not currently. As we expand, we may look to introducing an international service.

What is the difference between handmade and hand-dipped?

Hand-dipped incense starts with a pre-made stick that is soaked in fragrance oils. Our incense is handmade from the raw materials themselves — blended, formed and dried by hand in Broome. The scent comes from what we burn, not what we add to it.

What should I use my incense for?

Burn it to set the mood, slow down, reset your space, or simply enjoy the scent. There’s no right ritual — light it whenever you want to bring a little warmth and connection to Country into your space.
